GLASVEGAS is one of the Best New UK Bands out there! They just released their New CD EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \ I was lucky enoungh to see the band Live when they played at The Bowery Ballroom in NYC.
I've been a huge fan of GLASVEGAS from the beginning. When I 1st heard their Self-titled Debut CD I knew that there was something special about the Passion in their music. There is such Raw Emotion in James Allan's Poetic vocals that keeps you longing for more....I still can't get enough of their Indie Rock anthems from their Debut CD like "Geraldine", "It's My Own Cheating Heart That Makes Me Cry, & "Daddys' Gone".
The band GLASVEGAS always creates a musical masterpiece that takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride. GLASVEGAS's highly anticipated follow up CD EUPHORIC /// HEARTBREAK \ Produced by FLOOD ( U2,The Killers, Depeche Mode) continues where their Debut CD left off. James Allan's songwriting makes us reflect on life & gives us a sense of hope. After listening to the new CD you will definitely be in a state of Euphoria & believe that "The World is Yours"! THE STROKES played a FREE Show for Thousands of their Fans during SXSW. It's been years since they performed live so I couldn't pass up this rare opportunity to see them Rock Out in Austin, TX. Of course they played songs off their new CD "Angels" as well as Fan Favorites from their Debut CD "Is This It". THE STROKES ended the show with a Bang lighting up the sky with an array of Fireworks.

Type O Negative Live on ROCK THIS! a Tribute to Peter Steele
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 2 years since we lost Peter Steele from Type O Negative. I remember when I 1st heard the devastating news I was shocked! I was hoping that it wasn’t true & that someone was playing a sick joke but sadly it wasn’t. All I kept thinking about was how Peter Steele was way too young to die. Type O Negative was one of the Best Goth/Metal bands ever & quiet honestly one of the most underrated bands out there. Their music still continues to speak to generations of Goths/ Metal Heads Goths all around the world & influences musicians every where. I had the honor of working with Peter Steele & promoting Type O Negative during the years that I worked at Roadrunner Records. In remembrance of the 2 year anniversary of Peter Steele’s sudden death I wanted to pay tribute to him by sharing this rare Live TON footage that I shot years ago. Peter Steele was a dynamic Frontman on stage with a sarcastic sense of humor. I'm so glad that I Shot this Live Video of TON back in the 90's when I worked at Roadrunner Records. It's just one of the fond memories that I have of TON. The show was on Halloween at the Birch Hill in NJ sponsored by WSOU the Best Metal Radio Station Ever! Peter Steele's Spirit still lives on in TON's music. May he RIP!
