Soapbox Army is a NYC-based alt rock band, formed in 2008 by singer/songwriter Dan Tucker. The band consists of Dan Tucker on lead vocals & rhythm guitar, Pheroze Karai on lead guitar, and Bill McBreen on bass & backup vocals.
They released their self-titled debut in 2009 and are currently working on their second album, due to be released in early 2012. The album combines elements of rock, punk, funk and folk.
Soapbox has been playing shows all over the NYC area. They are currently auditioning drummers - once the drummer is in place they will look to do a regional tour to promote their new album.
